FILM - POST PRODUCTION

The Irish tax incentive for film and television is "spend based". The more of your budget you spend in Ireland on qualifying labour, goods and services, the more you can raise in Section 481 finance. In fact the Section 481 tax incentive will contribute up to 28%  of your expenditure on Irish post production. So it makes financial sense to not only film in Ireland, but to post produce here too!

Recent productions that filmed here, but stayed to carry out all or part of post production include Ondine, Triage, George Gently (BBC1), The Take (Sky1) and The Old Curiosity Shop (ITV).

These major film and television dramas have been post produced by our leading film post-houses.
