Irish Animation Series JOE AND JACK to Broadcast Daily From September 3rd
Irish animation company Dancing Girl Productions' new animated series JOE AND JACK will air twice daily on RTÉ from Monday, 3rd September at 10.40am, in English and at 1.30 pm in Irish.
Joe & Jack is a series about a four year old boy named Joe, and Jack, his best friend who happens to be a cat. These two have the biggest imaginations and their days are filled with all sorts of adventures. Follow these friends as together they get into and out of trouble.
Created by Corrina Askin and directed by Jeremy Purcell and Stuart Shankly, the 39 x 7 minute series was developed and produced by Maeve McAdam and Villi Ragnarsson for Dancing Girl Productions with funding from Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board, BAI, Northern Ireland Screen, Irish Language Broadcast Fund, RTÉ, Section 481 and MEDIA. The series is being distributed by CCI Entertainment and has already been sold to YLE Finland, RTP Portugal, KTH Korea, ZAPP the Netherlands, ABC Australia, Disney Latin America, Canal + France, Telequebec and BBC Knowledge Canada, and TVNZ New Zealand.
