Over the coming weeks the cities of Los Angeles, San Francisco and New York will play host to the Irish film industry, with three exciting Irish film festivals taking place between September 26th - October 7th

The Los Angeles Irish Film Festival, the San Francisco Irish Film Festival and Irish Film New York have partnered up this year to screen a programme of new Irish cinema including Kieron J. Walsh's JUMP, Kirsten Sheridan's DOLLHOUSE and Lelia Doolan's BERNADETTE: NOTES ON A POLITICAL JOURNEY with members of the Irish film industry travelling to each of the festivals to take part in industry and cultural events. The three Irish film festivals are proudly supported by Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (BSÉ/IFB) and Tourism Ireland.

Commenting on the sponsorship James Hickey, Chief Executive, Bord Scannán na Éireann/the Irish Film Board (BSÉ/IFB) said "These Irish film festivals are wonderful ambassadors for Irish film in North America.
