ONE HUNDRED MORNINGS now available to rent or buy on DVD in the UK and Ireland
Bl!nder Films award winning first feature, One Hundred Mornings, written and
directed by Conor Horgan, is now available to rent or buy on DVD throughout the UK and Ireland.
Set in a world upended by a complete breakdown of society, two couples hide out in a lakeside cabin hoping to survive the crisis. As resources run low and external threats increase, they forge an uneasy alliance with their self-sufficient hippie neighbour. With no news from the outside world they can't know how long they must endure living in such close quarters, and with such limited supplies. Unspoken animosity fills the air, and a suspected affair is driving a wedge between them all. Poorly equipped to cope in a world without technology and saddled with completely conflicting worldviews, everything begins to disintegrate. Finally, each of them faces a critical decision they never thought they'd have to make.
The film had a hugely successful tour of the international film festival circuit premiering at the renowned Slamdance Film Festival where it received a Special Jury Mention for Narrative Fiction, winning the inaugural Workbook Project Discovery & Distribution Award, Best Cinematography IFTA 2010 and Best Director Award at the San Francisco Irish Film Festival, and picking up rave endorsements from the New York Times, The Irish Times, LA Weekly, Filmmaker Magazine and the Village Voice.
The film was produced by Katie Holly at Bl!nder Films as part of Project Catalyst with the support of the Irish Film Board, Filmbase, TV3 and the BAI Sound & Vision Fund. It has been sold internationally by Ravenbanner Entertainment and distributed in the US through IndieFlix.
