Tony Lawson to Speak in IADT as Part of National Film School Lecture Series
Tony Lawson, one of Britain's leading film editors, will speak in IADT as part of the National Film School Lecture Series on Tuesday the 27th of March at 5.30pm.
Lawson has worked with some of the greatest directors in recent cinema history, including Stanley Kubrick (Barry Lyndon): Nicolas Roeg (Bad Timing and Eureka) and Sam Peckinpah (Straw Dogs and Cross of Iron). Since 1996 he has edited all of Neil Jordan's films including Michael Collins (co-credit); The Butcher Boy; In Dreams; The End of the Affair; The Good Thief; Breakfast on Pluto; The Brave One; Ondine; and Byzantuim, which is currently in post-production.
The National Film School Lecture is held in association with Bord Scannán na hÉireann/ the Irish Film Board.
