Annie Doona

Annie Doona

Chairperson

Dr Annie Doona is President of IADT (Institute of Art, Design & Technology) Dún Laoghaire. She has extensive experience in strategy development, educational leadership, curriculum design and delivery, and equality and diversity.

Dr Doona has been involved in developing national strategies for further and higher Education in the UK and Ireland. She is a Board member of THEA, the Technological Higher Education Association Ireland, an Associate Fellow of Gradcam (Graduate School of Creative Arts and Media). She is an accredited ENQA reviewer and has experience as a member and chair of, quality assurance review panels, validation panels, programmatic and institutional reviews in the UK, Ireland and Europe.

Kate McColgan

Kate McColgan is the Managing Director and Producer at Calico Pictures, as well as a consultant for MPI Media. She has previously held roles in Element Pictures, MTV Arabia, the Weinstein Company and Parallel Films. Calico Pictures' credits include From the Dark (for US Distributor MPI Media), Yorgos Lanthimos’ first English language project for Venice 70: Future Reloaded, US feature Paper Anchor and The Drummer and the Keeper written and directed by Nick Kelly.

Larry Bass

Larry Bass established ShinAwiL Productions in 1999 and has executive produced the Irish versions of the multi-award-winning series, The Apprentice, Dragons’ Den, MasterChef Ireland and most recently the hugely successful Dancing With The Stars. Other recent productions include Home of the Year and What Are You Eating? alongside previous credits such as Popstars, You’re A Star and The Voice of Ireland. Larry was on the board of Screen Producers Ireland (SPI) from 2000, serving as Deputy Chairman from January 2003 to February 2004, and as Chairman from February 2004 to February 2005.  He was reelected to the board in 2015. Larry also served on the Board of the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland from 2010 to 2015.

Katie Holly is the Managing Director of Blinder Films, where she has produced several award-winning and critically acclaimed features including Grace Jones: Bloodlight and Bami , Whit Stillman’s Love & FriendshipThe Queen of IrelandOne Hundred Mornings (2009), Citadel (2012) and The Pervert’s Guide to Ideology (2012). TV projects for RTE include TV drama Striking Out, and the award-winning The Savage Eye and Irish Pictorial Weekly. She is a graduate of EAVE, Inside Pictures, was a former Producer on the Move at Cannes, and is also board member of the Irish Film Institute.

Mark Fenton

A Fellow of the Institute of Chartered Accountants and member of the Chartered Institute of Securities & Investment, Mark spent over 21 years in international financial services, primarily outside Ireland (including nine years in London and five in Paris). In 2016, he founded MASF Consulting Ltd., a specialist advisory focused on delivering the power and influence of the Inclusion of Diversity within the public and private sector. Mark has extensive governance experience, with over 12 years' in internal and external audit, and several years of executive Board membership within the corporate (AXA) and not-for-profit (Network Irlande) worlds.

Rachel Lysaght

Rachel Lysaght is a multi-award winning creative film producer at Underground Films. Her passion is creating movies with a conscience, through emotionally engaging storytelling. Rachel is a graduate of the European EAVE and international TransAtlanticPartners (TAP) programmes and the Samuel Beckett School of Drama in Trinity College, Dublin, Ireland. She serves on the boards of Bord Scanánn na hÉreann/the Irish Film Board, the Irish Film Institute and Women in Film & Television, Ireland, which she chaired from 2015 – 2017.

Marian Quinn

Marian Quinn

Board Member

Marian Quinn is a director of Janey Pictures where she writes and directs. She won the Tiernan McBride Screenwriting Award for her debut feature, the multi-award winning 32A. She was an active board member of Cinema North West and The Model in Sligo. Marian lectures on directing in Dundalk Institute of Technology and is a member of Screen Directors Guild of Ireland, where she was chair of the Equality Action Committee of the Joint Guilds until 2017.
