Inspired by the new stage musical, On Eagles Wing by John Anderson, this documentary tells the epic story of the journey of the Scots-Irish. The story begins with the Scots forced departure from their homes in the lowlands of Scotland in the 17th and 18th centuries, to their attempts to settle in Ireland and, for many of them, their further move across the Atlantic to the new world of America.
