Irish Animation Company Monster Animation Nominated for Cartoon Tributes
Irish animation company Monster Animation has been nominated for the European Association of Animation Film's annual awards for outstanding contribution to the European animation industry, Cartoon Tributes, which will take place in Sopot, Poland later this month.
Monster Animation has been nominated in the Producer of the Year category against LuxAnimation (Luxembourg) and French animation companies Planet Nemo Animation and Tele Images Production.
Monster Animation is an award-winning leading Irish animation studio based in Dublin. Their studio offers a full range of animation services from scripting through post production. They have recently completed Roobarb & Custard Too (39 x 7 min), Fluffy Gardens (80 x 7 min), Fluffy Gardens Xmas Special (1 x 20 min), Managing The Universe (60 x 1 min), Ballybraddan (20 x 13 min) and Punky (20 x 7 min).
They are currently developing Cosmo (26 x 13 min) for a pre-school audience which is a fun way of exploring the solar system and astronomy.
Created in 2006, the Cartoon Tributes have gained a prestigious reputation for giving professionals from the animation industry the opportunity to honour their own colleagues.
Cartoon Forum will take place in Sopot, Poland from 13th - 16th September.
