Lance Daly's Irish Feature Life's A Breeze Begins Production in Dublin
Shooting has begun in Dublin on LIFE'S A BREEZE, a new feature film from Irish director Lance Daly (Kisses, The Good Doctor), starring Fionnula Flanagan (The Guard), Pat Shortt (Lenny Abrahamson's Garage), Eva Birthistle (The Wakewood) and newcomer Kelly Thornton.
The film tells the story of a family's search for a lost fortune. The production, currently based at Dublin's new independent studio space The Factory, will film for four weeks in Dublin before moving to Sweden for two weeks in the new year. The production will spend €2 million in the Irish economy on local goods and services, creating over 50 jobs.
LIFE'S A BREEZE is produced by Irish production company Fastnet Films, whose previous credits include Kisses, The Other Side Of Sleep and Nothing Personal.
The film is a co-production with Anagram Produktion of Sweden, with finance from Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board, BAI, Setanta Ireland, Film i Väst, Swedish Film Institute, Magnolia Distribution, Section 481 and Eurimages. Producers are Macdara Kelleher for Fastnet Films and Martin Persson for Anagram Produktion. Production Designer is Waldemar Kalinowski. Line Producer is Seamus McInerny.
