Bord Scannán na hÉireann / the Irish Film Board (IFB) would like to extend its congratulations to all the IFTA nominees for the 9th Annual Irish Film and Television Awards which were announced yesterday.
The nominations were announced in categories across film and television, celebrating the highest standard of Irish talent over the past twelve months. In the category of Best Film all four nominees were funded by the Irish Film Board. These include Albert Nobbs (Parallel Films), Stella Days (Newgrange Pictures) and The Guard (Element Pictures) all of which received production finance from the IFB and Charlie Casanova (Source Productions), which received completion funding.
