Don’t miss The Institute of Creative Advertising and Design's (ICAD) ‘CREATIVE SHORTS’ event this January

Eleven short films, including a number of IFB funded shorts, from ICAD members will be screened on one epic night. This will be the first in an ongoing series of events celebrating the creativity of the Institute's members. From love lost to a lobster's new-found love of music, this is an event to kick January's blues into rainbow-chrome.

ICAD (www.icad.ie) was established in 1958 to ‘foster, promote and reward creative excellence in Irish advertising and design'.  It is probably best know through the prestigious ICAD Awards.

The films to be screened are:

Crossing Salween, Brian O'Malley

Atlantic, Conor Ferguson

Washed Up Love, Dylan Cotter

John Duffy's Brother, Eoghan Nolan

Avatar Days, Gavin Kelly

Shelly, Johnny Kelly

The Herd, Ken Wardrop

Venom, Mark Tuthill

The Crush, Michael Creagh (Oscar Nominated 2011)

Shoe, Nick Kelly (Shortlisted for Oscar Nomination)

New Boy, Steph Green (Oscar Nominated 2009)

ICAD Meitheal will take place in The Sugar Club on Thursday, January 26th from 6:30 p.m. Tickets are €10 at the door, or pre-booked through elaine@icad.ie. Open to all.
