Alison Owen to Speak in IADT as Part of National Film School Lecture Series
Alison Owen, the BAFTA and Emmy Award winning producer, will speak in IADT as part of the National Film School Lecture Series on Tuesday the 28th of February at 5.30pm.
Alison Owen is one of Britain's leading film and television producers. She was nominated for an Oscar and won a BAFTA for the 1998 film ‘Elizabeth' starring Cate Blanchette. In 2010 she won a Prime Time Emmy® for Temple Grangin, which boasted Claire Danes and Julia Ormond in its cast. Her other credits include: Jane Eyre (with Michael Fassbender as Heathcliff); The Men Who Stare at Goats, with George Clooney; The Other Boleyn Girl; Shaun of The Dead and Sylvia with Gwyneth Paltrow. Alison has also produced two films in Ireland titled Hear My Song and Rat.
