Spotlight on Ireland at BANFF World Media Festival - Update
Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (IFB) has partnered with the Banff World Media Festival to create a territory ‘Spotlight on Ireland' at next month's festival. Seven Irish production companies are to take part in order to raise the profile of Irish/Canadian co-production and capitalise on the opportunities created by the official bi-lateral co-production treaty which exists between the two countries.
The ‘Spotlight' will include a special presentation celebrating Ireland by representatives from Irish production companies including Octagon Films, Parallel Films, Element Pictures and Grand Pictures.
