Banff World Media Festival in Canada has special Spotlight on Ireland
Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board has partnered with the BANFF World Media Festival in Canada to create a territory "Spotlight on Ireland" which takes place during the festival which kicks off over the weekend.
Six Irish production companies have travelled over to participate in the networking event which aims to raise awareness of the opportunities created by the official bilateral co-production treaty that exists between the two countries.
Crossing the Line Films, Element Pictures, Fastnet Films, Grand Pictures, Octagon, Parallel Films and Screentime ShinAwil will all take part in the networking event with the view of making new contacts and finding potential production partners from around the globe
The ‘Spotlight on Ireland' takes place Monday 11th June at 11.35am in The Crump Room at the Banff World Media Festival. The festival takes place 10th - 13th June.
