‘King of the Travellers’ in Selected Irish Cinemas this week

New Irish feature film KING OF THE TRAVELLERS directed by Mark O'Connor will be hitting selected Irish cinemas this Friday, 19th April.

A special preview will take place this Thursday 18th April in the IFI at 6.30pm which will be followed by a Q&A with the cast and crew hosted by Vincent Browne.

King of the Travellers which stars Peter Coonan (Love/Hate), Michael Collins (Man About Dog) and newcomer John Connors tells the story of John Paul Moorehouse (Connors) who is on a destructive quest to uncover the truth about the killer of his father 12 years ago.  John Paul's desire for revenge is swayed as he falls for Winnie Power, the daughter of the man he suspects killed his father.  John Paul must now battle between his consuming passion for justice versus his desire to be with the woman he loves.

King of the Travellers was produced by Cormac Fox and John Wallace for Vico Films and Black Sheep Productions with funding from Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board, BAI and TV3.  It is being distributed by Wildcard Distribution.
