The Other Side of Sleep available to buy on DVD across Ireland this Friday
The Other Side of Sleep, the debut feature from Irish director Rebecca Daly, will be available on DVD from this Friday, November 22nd.
The film had its premiere at the prestigious Directors’ Fortnight of the Cannes Film Festival before screening at the Toronto International Film Festival, among others.
Starring Antonia Campbell Hughes (Kelly + Victor, Albert Nobbs), Vicky Joyce and Sam Keeley, The Other Side of Sleep tells the story of Arlene, a sleepwalker who is like a ghost in her own life. She lives in a small town in the Midlands, surrounded by woodlands and laneways where people disappear and never come back. When she wakes in the woods one morning beside the body of a young woman, suspicions and fears start to spread through her small community.

The Other Side of Sleep was produced by Irish company Fastnet Films (Colony, Kisses), and European co-producers Rinkel Film & TV Productions and KMH Film Productions. The film was funded by Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board, the Netherlands Film Fund and Hungarian Motion Pictures Foundation.
It will be available on DVD in stores including Golden Discs, Tower Records and the IFI in Ireland from this Friday, 22nd November.
