This gripping film received a standing ovation at its packed Cork Film Festival screening in November, and it won the World Cinema Documentary Prize for Editing at the prestigious Sundance Festival earlier this year. It has gleaned ecstatic reviews from the world press:

"A heart-throbbing cliffhanger" (Hollywood Reporter)

"A pulse-pounding success" (The New York Times)

"A physical evocation of the fear and euphoria experienced by these brave men and women who thrive on the impossible" (Variety)

The Summit was produced by Image Now / Pat Falvey Productions in association with Passion Pictures, Diamond Docs and Fantastic Films, and was funded by Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board, RTÉ, BAI and BBC. It is being distributed by Wildcard Distribution.
