International Trade Fund Accepting Applications from Film, Animation and Motion Designers

The Irish Design 2015 International Trade Fund (ITF) has launched an open call for applications, including from film, animation and motion designers. The ITF will provide financial support on a match-funding basis to design companies who wish to participate in trade events outside Ireland during 2015.

The fund aims to assist Irish design companies to develop their export potential and routes to market.

The details for funding are as follows:

Individual applicants

If your application is successful, Irish Design 2015 will subsidise up to a maximum of 50% of the cost of:

  • Economy return airfare or ferry - for up to 2 members of staff
  • Stand costs - rental, build & electrics
  • Product transport/freight costs
  • Accommodation - for up to 2 members of staff and for up to 2 days either side of the show (max.)

Group applicants

If your application is successful, Irish Design 2015 will subsidise up to a maximum of 50% of the cost of:

  • Economy return airfare or ferry - for up to 10 members of staff
  • Stand costs - rental, build & electrics
  • Product transport/freight costs
  • Accommodation - for up to 10 members of staff and for up to 2 days either side of the show (max.)

Depending on demand and on the standard of applications, not all applicants may be offered funding. Those selected may not be offered the full amount that they have requested. The deadline for queries falls on Monday December 15th, while the deadline for submission of proposals falls on Friday January 9th.
