Inaugural ‘TalentX’ Development Forum to be Held in Amsterdam, March 2015
TalentX, a new international forum dedicated to professionals working in talent development, will have its inaugural edition in March 2015.
TalentX brings together industry professionals working to support the development and progression of film talent from across the EU and beyond. The event will be attended by international talent developers from state agencies, commercial companies and film schools alongside producers, sales agents, distributors, exhibitors and filmmakers.
Attendees will take part in a learning and ideas exchange focusing on the challenges and opportunities facing talent within the real world. TalentX will explore such topics as what writers, directors and producers really want from developers; strategies for guiding talent from shorts to first, second and third features; the role of producers in bringing in talent; and different international models for development.
The event is hosted by Creative England in partnership with Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board and the Danish Film Institute and supported by Creative Europe.
Planned as an annual event, the first edition will be held in the EYE Film Institute in Amsterdam from March 18-20 2015.
