Irish Film Board and Enterprise Ireland Support 'Ireland on Screen' at MIPTV 2015
Bord Scannán na hÉireann/the Irish Film Board (IFB) is once again supporting the Ireland on Screen booth in partnership with Enterprise Ireland at this year's MIPTV which is taking place in Cannes from April 13th to 16th.
MIPTV gives the world its first taste of the newest programmes, freshest formats and latest innovations for TV, internet, mobile and all video-rich platforms. This year there will be a diverse selection of Irish representation including production and post production companies as well as Irish broadcasters in attendance at the market including RTÉ, TV3, Jam Media, Telegael and Element Pictures. MIPTV is attended by 11,000 key decision makers from over 100 countries. It provides a stage for Irish producers to network and explore new co-producing opportunities across the full range of AV content.
The aim of BSÉ/IFB at the market is to meet with international producers and broadcasters, reinforcing Ireland's strong profile as a destination for television on the back of a wide number of successful projects which chose Ireland as a film location last year.
IFB Project Manager Mary Callery will attend the event.
